Update on Corona Virus/COVID-19

Visitors – Here at Roseleigh /Longlands care home we strive to keep our residents, and staff, safe and free from infection.

As Boris Johnson has advised self-isolation to the over 70’s we are now restricting access to all family members unless it is essential.

Essential visits can only take place Monday – Friday between the hours of 10-3 and we ask that visitors who come to the home follow the strict handwashing measures we have in place. We ask that families restrict the visitors to a maximum of two people and that visitors should be restricted to the bedroom of the resident, and have minimal exposure to the corridors and communal areas and most importantly away from other residents and staff. This will commence from Monday 23rd March.

Can we ask that if you are feeling unwell that you do not visit the home.
If you have any queries or concerns please contact the Manager if you find it difficult to visit within the time scale who will discuss alternative options with you.

The majority of our staff have face time or video call so if you have it on your phones/computers then we will happily arrange a time for you to chat to loved one should you wish so please ring the home on 01642 656122 and ask for a member of our team to set this up and we will arrange to get you connected to your loved one.

Again we have not taken these decisions lightly and are acutely aware of the difficulty this situation presents to you all. The safety of our residents is paramount. Please be assured we will do all we can to ensure disruption is kept to the minimum.
