Residential Care

Life in a residential care home is usually more varied and active than that in a nursing home. At Longland we have 43 beds over two floors with trained staff on hand to care for the residents 24 hours a day, all personal care given ensuring residents’ basic personal needs such as meals, bathing, assisting to the toilet and medication are taken care of. Some residents are more able and have greater independence and take care of many of their own needs, they are able to attend clubs, go shopping and visit family and friends.
